Short, shareable, smart
When BWH Hotels put out a request for training videos that didn’t feel like training, we were ready for the challenge. Using a “writers’ room” approach to pitch ideas and collaboratively craft humorous learning content, our team put together a package of microlearning videos, promotional posters, five-minute eLearning courses, and quarterly team huddle activities that reinvented how on-property staff received training.
Unlike traditional training videos, these were witty, playful, and irreverent. Plus, they were short. This made them easy to digest and fun to watch—just like shareable, viral online videos.
By mixing learning with creativity and intrigue, these videos not only emphasized the top-notch service culture at BWH Hotels but also made for a collection of playful, original training videos that learners loved.
